Knowledge Agents Using Too Many Sources

In the last month or two, I’ve noticed that our Knowledge Agents always seem to be trying to reference the maximum of 10 Guru cards, or at least on questions that have been flagged as No Answer Returned. Oftentimes these are mostly completely unrelated cards, only 1 or 2 of them actually being relevant to the question that was asked. If I delete the 8-9 unrelated cards of them as sources, leaving only the 1-2 relevant ones, it does usually generate a correct answer.Was there a change made recently where Knowledge Agents always attempt to reference the largest number of cards possible, even if this means using cards that are less relevant or completely irrelevant?

Delete/Archive AI Training QuestionsComplete

What is the problem? Sometimes questions come through the AI training center that aren’t questions that have a clear answer. I would love if there is a way for us to clean those up, or determine aren’t priority to answer. Additionally we have submitted questions during training that are not real, and would love to option to delete them. See below - “who is the coolest person in IT? Where do I find rainbow kitties? Who is it a problem for? Experts / admins How do you solve the problem today? No current work around - those questions just remain unanswered/unassigned without the ability to clear out our queue. How would you ideally solve the problem? Allow experts or admins to choose an option that says “will not be answering at this time”, “question is not prioritized” “question is incomplete” - or something similar to clear to queue. Make it possible to link directly to a subheaderComplete

It needs to be possible to link directly to a subheader in a Guru card so you can point people directly to that section of a card. While cards should be short and easily digestible, they’ll still need subheader content, and we should be able to direct users immediately to that content without them needing to scroll. It is really important to be able to not only reference headers between Guru cards, but also link to them externally, such as in a Slack message.

Built-in glossary functionalityOpen

What is the problem? While we can create a glossary of terms in a few different ways in Guru, an out-of-the-box capability to allow glossary terms to be identified and defined when used in Guru cards would be helpful. Who is it a problem for? All users. How do you solve the problem today? We will likely create a glossary of terms (one per card) and manually remember to reference that Guru glossary term definition card when using those terms in other cards. How would you ideally solve the problem? Would be great if Guru first allowed you to identify any terms in the glossary and then provided functionality so that any time you to hover over one of those terms in a card, its definition would reveal without having to leave the card. Overall page comments and activity log sidebarOpen

I’d like to propose a couple of enhancements to improve the usability and collaboration experience: Dual-Level Commenting System Section-Specific Comments (DONE): 🎉Comments are tied to specific sections or pieces of content within the document. Overall Page Comments (NEW REQUEST): Introduce a new option to add comments that apply to the entire document/page. These should be visually and functionally distinct from the standalone section-specific comment boxes—perhaps located in an activity log sidebar. Activity Log Sidebar (NEW REQUEST) Add a dedicated sidebar or side panel that displays a real-time or recent activity log. This should include actions like edits, comments added, resolved comments, and other relevant document interactions. Ideally, this panel would be collapsible and timestamped, helping users quickly understand the latest changes and contributions. Example:

Live linked content sectionsOpen

Feature request:Instead of linking a Guru card to send the reader to another page for relevant information, I would like to have a linked section of content that would display in the card and update as the other card updates.So, for example, I have two cards that both need instructions on how to create an equipment order. I can copy/paste that information into both cards, but then if it’s updated and only changed in one section, there would be incorrect/outdated information in another card.What I propose is that I could “mirror” a section of another card within my card. So instead of linking the equipment order card and saying “go check out the equipment order section of this other card”, I could just have it display the desired section from the other card in my new card. Google has this ability in their tools. When you paste a slide from another deck, for example, it asks if you want it to be linked or independent. This feature would be so helpful to allow me to reference other relate

What is the problem? We have some content that would be ideal to live across many cards (like specific code for troubleshooting), but only be updated in one place. Who is it a problem for? Technical users How do you solve the problem today? Typically make a single card, even for a very small amount of code that is G card linked over and over in cards. How would you ideally solve the problem? Consider something like notion’s synced blocks. How big is the problem (business impact, frequency of impact etc.)? Synced content (like this and cards living in multiple collections) is the most requested feature at our company.

Super Admin needs the ability to see all unpublished drafts within the organizationOpen

While we are in the process of educating our organization to create new cards from within a collection, as we ramp up we have many new authors creating cards which live in their “My Drafts”. Without them adding their supervisor or us admins as a collaborator, we have no way of knowing which cards are being created, their status, or who is developing content. At the permissions-level a super-admin access to all drafts would be appropriate to manage our content.

Policy review and approval workflow with versioning

I see a lot of content on draft and publishing approval workflows, but I’d like to know if a really robust policy management workflow with periodic review comments and approvals retention is a capability that can exist solely within Guru, or if you need to leverage the integrations with other apps like Google docs or Confluence?

Feature Request: Add a "Latest Guru Cards" on the Home menu.

Having a “Latest Guru cards” section in the Home screen would improve the browsing experience a lot. I usually read the Guru cards but not always favorite them. I would love to find a section called Latest or similar to know what are the newest trends.

Guru & Zendesk - AI Suggest is no longer available. Does the new Enterprise AI Search surface cards automatically in Zendesk?

Hey folks - I work in Customer Support and I got a new job recently. I got them to get Guru because of the AI Suggest feature. I hear it’s being sunsetted in place of Enterprise AI.AI Suggest was really helpful because it looked at everything on the screen and was incredibly accurate with the cards it suggested. Guru was a repository for bugs, internal troubleshooting, and a sync with our Zendesk Help Center.I just watched the Enterprise AI Search webinar and it was only focused on using it for things like employees looking up how to do a certain process or asking questions in Slack. At my previous job and this one, we get quite complex tickets. The ability of Guru to read that and suggest cards was invaluable.I’m not clear how this Enterprise AI Search will work with Zendesk tickets now, if it all. I haven’t been able to try it yet as I reached out to Guru support to trial the Enterprise plan for AI Suggest so I could show its value to the team and leadership. That’s when I was told t

Is there a way to create a page within a collection?

We have a lot of content knowledge that could be great as a page for training purposes. However, I cannot find a way to add a page to a collection. This way instead of searching or using knowledge agents, our new hires could have access to the cards, videos, webinars, podcasts, slide decks and other information they need about a specific topic all on one page with of course a block on cards you should check out for further discovery and deeper dives. This could also serve a double purpose of helping the new hires learn how to use and navigate through Guru. Any advice would be appreciated.

Extension Not Opening

On occasion I have noticed that that the chrome extension will not pop open. Our team has attempted to troubleshoot in a variety of ways including signing out/back in, opening a new tab, pinning/unpinning the extension. Has anyone else experienced this? Confirmation of Knowledge

Hey allNew to Guru. We are looking for an all in one solution to provide our small company with an intranet of sorts to aid productivity and share updates AS WELL AS a way to onboard new team members and provide training and guidance.I have really enjoyed exploring Guru so far. I have requested a sales call, but no answer as of yet to book that in.One issue we have is we really do need to test the knowledge and understanding of our team members particularly when it comes to safety critical operating procedures. Whilst we are able to organise and document these elegantly through different libraries and cards, Guru is definitely lacking that “quiz” function to be able to get a confirmation of that team member’s understanding that we can track and record.One work-around I have seen is to make the group that needs to stay current with that operating procedure the expert for that card, and set the verification frequency to how often we need them to refresh their understanding.
